Where shallowness is a virtue
As well as being amongst the fastest and easiest of cable distribution floor boxes to install, Ackermann's Rapide Extra floor boxes include shallow versions as standard, which gives them an unprecedented advantage over other makes.

Ackermann power up call centre workers
Nearly 3km of Ackermann's Interact underfloor powertrack and 1400 underfloor boxes are installed in the Capital One Call Centre in Loxley House, Nottingham, opened earlier this year by Prince Charles. With this £60 million extension to its European headquarters, Capital One has created 1000 new jobs, bringing its workforce in Nottingham to over 2,000.

A cable dump that adds to office safety
To keep office floors tidy and safe, Ackermann has introduced an innovative optional accessory for use with its Rapide Extra floor boxes. It is a cable dump that enables excess cabling provided for possible future desk connections, to be stored safely away within the floor box rather than lying on the floor.

Floor boxes for wet washable hard surfaces
Architects and specifiers will appreciate the aesthetically pleasing finish of Onix, a new range of floor boxes and power grommets for installation in hard floor surfaces such as stone, marble, wood or ceramic tiles which has been launched by Ackermann. The Onix range also includes floor boxes which are sealed against water ingress and can be used in areas where the floors are wet washed.
